PLAN FOR PASSENGER TRANSPORT SERVICES DURING NEW YEAR’S DAY AND THE LUNAR NEW YEAR (YEAR OF THE HORSE) 2026

Pursuant to the public holiday schedule for 2026 approved by the Government, civil servants, public employees and workers will be entitled to 01 day off on the occasion of New Year’s Day 2026, namely January 1, 2026 (Thursday). For the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026, the official holiday period will last 05 days.

The official Lunar New Year holiday will be from Monday, February 16, 2026 to Friday, February 20, 2026 (from the 29th day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 4th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse). In addition, there will be 04 weekend days immediately before and after the official holiday period. Therefore, employees will enjoy a total of 09 consecutive days off, from February 14, 2026 to February 22, 2026 (from the 27th day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 6th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse).

In order to proactively and effectively implement passenger transport services, ensure public security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and firefighting, environmental sanitation, and service quality during the New Year’s Day and the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026, West Coach Station Joint Stock Company (West Coach Station) hereby formulates the service plan as follows:

1. Passenger Traffic Forecast

1.1 New Year’s Day 2026

West Coach Station forecasts that the number of operating vehicles will increase by over 5%, and the number of departing passengers will increase by over 15% compared to the same period of New Year’s Day 2025.

1.2 Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026

- The service period for the Lunar New Year is 20 days, including 10 days before and 10 days after the holiday, specifically from February 7, 2026 to February 26, 2026 (from the 20th day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 10th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse). At West Coach Station, passenger traffic is usually concentrated during the year-end peak days and is expected to increase significantly from February 13, 2026 to February 15, 2026 (corresponding to the 26th to the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month).

- Based on passenger service data during the Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake) 2025 and current travel demand, West Coach Station forecasts that during the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026, the number of operating vehicles will increase by over 2%, and the number of passengers will increase by over 4% compared to the same period in 2025.

2. Ticket Sales Plan

- At West Coach Station, passenger traffic is typically concentrated during the final days of the lunar year, with the peak period starting from the 26th day of the twelfth lunar month. Accordingly, during the peak period of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026, from February 13, 2026 (26/12 Lunar Calendar) to February 15, 2026 (28/12 Lunar Calendar), ticket sales will be organized as follows:

+ From 05:00 to 21:00 for transport units authorized by the station to sell tickets;

+ 24 hours per day for transport units that sell tickets independently.

3. Ticket Prices during New Year’s Day and Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026

- Transport units that register an increase in ticket prices (if any) must submit written notices to the competent authorities in accordance with regulations and send the price declaration notice to West Coach Station for public posting at ticket counters and for ticket sales to passengers;

- West Coach Station encourages transport units not to increase ticket prices during New Year’s Day 2026. According to annual statistics, ticket prices during this period have generally remained the same as on normal days.

4. Passenger service operations during New Year’s Day and the Lunar New Year, ensuring public security and order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and firefighting, and traffic safety.
