In the context of the increasing risk of fires and explosions, the development and implementation of fire prevention and fire fighting and rescue operations are extremely essential. The objective of this drill is to raise awareness and enhance the skills of all employees in responding promptly and effectively to fire and explosion incidents.
On the afternoon of December 12, 2025, West Coach Station Joint Stock Company, in coordination with Fire Fighting and Rescue Team – Area 09, organized the 2025 Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Drill with the participation of officers from Fire Fighting and Rescue Team – Area 09 and members of the Company’s Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Team.
The simulated scenario involved a fire breaking out in a bus parked in the waiting area, caused by an electrical short circuit in the battery. The fire spread rapidly, generating intense heat and toxic smoke, causing three people to lose consciousness due to smoke inhalation. The on-site rescue team immediately deployed rescue operations and evacuated the victims to a safe area. Upon detecting the fire, security personnel promptly raised the alarm and reported the incident. The Company’s on-site fire fighting force coordinated with Fire Fighting and Rescue Team – Area 09 to completely extinguish the fire.
The fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue drill not only helps improve employees’ awareness and skills but also ensures safety for everyone in the working environment. Through each drill, valuable lessons can be drawn, thereby improving and enhancing the effectiveness of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue operations.
