In accordance with Regulation No. 48-QD/TW dated December 20, 2021, issued by the Central Committee regarding the functions and tasks of Party committees and grassroots Party cells in state-owned enterprises, at 5:00 PM on July 19, 2024, the Party Committee of the West Coach Station Joint Stock Company held a mid-year review conference on Party building for the first half of 2024 and outlined orientations for the second half of 2024 at Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne. The conference aimed to evaluate the results achieved by the Company’s Party Committee, identify existing issues needing improvement, and propose directions, tasks, and solutions to effectively lead and fulfill the Party’s political responsibilities in 2024.
Attendees included leaders from SAMCO Corporation and the Company, such as Mrs. Le Thi My Hanh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SAMCO Corporation and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the West Coach Station Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh – Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee and President of the Trade Union of SAMCO Corporation; Mrs. Tang Thi Thu Ly – Acting General Director of SAMCO Corporation; Mr. Dang Nguyen Nguyen Huan – Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of SAMCO Corporation and General Director of the Company; Mr. Tran Van Phuong – Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Director of the Company; Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien – President of the Trade Union and Deputy General Director of the Company, along with members of the Company’s Party Executive Committee and all Party members of the Company.
At the conference, Comrade Tran Van Phuong – Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee, and Comrade Dang Nguyen Nguyen Huan – Member of the Executive Committee of SAMCO Corporation’s Party Committee and General Director of the Company, presented a summary report on Party building work for the first half of 2024 and orientations for the second half of 2024, as well as a report on the Company’s business activities for the first half of 2024 and plans for the second half of the year.
At the conference, Comrade Le Thi My Hanh – Deputy Secretary of SAMCO Corporation's Party Committee, praised the achievements of the Company’s Party Committee, noting that the targets were nearly on par with those of 2019 despite ongoing challenges following the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a highly commendable result. She also highlighted several areas for the Party Committee to focus on:
- In the direction and tasks for the second half of 2024, the Party Committee should continue striving to successfully complete the Company’s business plan for 2024.
- The Committee should inspect the action programs and preparations for organizing the Party Congress for the new term. Additionally, efforts should be made to meet the target of admitting new Party members in 2024.
Furthermore, the conference announced and presented awards to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in studying and following Hồ Chí Minh's ideology, morality, and style during the period from May 19, 2021, to May 19, 2024:
- Three individuals received certificates of merit from the Party Committee of SAMCO Corporation for their excellent achievements in studying and following Hồ Chí Minh's ideology, morality, and style during the period from May 19, 2021, to May 19, 2024.
- Two collectives received certificates of merit from the Company’s Party Committee for excelling in studying and following Hồ Chí Minh's ideology, morality, and style during the same period.
- Eight individuals received certificates of merit from the Party Committee for their excellent performance in this area during the same period.
The conference concluded successfully at 6:00 PM on the same day.
