Based on the public holiday schedule for 2024 approved by the Government, civil servants, officials, and workers will have a 4-day holiday for National Day from August 31, 2024, to the end of September 3, 2024 (from Saturday to the end of Tuesday).
To ensure smooth passenger service during the National Day holiday on September 2, 2024, the West Coach Station Joint Stock Company (West Coach Station) has developed and implemented the following service plan:
1. Passenger Traffic Forecast
-The number of passengers traveling to provinces and cities during the National Day holiday on September 2 is expected to increase by more than 5% in vehicle volume and over 15% in passengers compared to the same period in 2023. It is forecasted that the peak day will be Saturday, August 31, 2024, with the station possibly serving up to 59,000 passengers and 1,890 vehicles per day, an increase of over 114% in passenger volume and more than 47% in vehicle volume compared to regular days..
2. Ticket Sales Plan
- From August 30, 2024, to the end of September 3, 2024 (from Friday to Tuesday), West Coach Station will sell tickets from 5 AM to 9 PM for bus operators that entrust the station with ticket sales, and 24/7 for transport operators that sell tickets independently. Passengers wishing to buy tickets can contact the hotline at 1900.7373 or visit the website (www.bxmt.com.vn) for detailed instructions.
3. Ticket Prices for National Day Holiday (September 2, 2024)
- Transport operators intending to increase ticket prices (if any) must submit documents to relevant authorities in accordance with the regulations in Circular No. 56/2014/TT-BTC dated April 28, 2014, of the Ministry of Finance, which guides the implementation of Decree No. 177/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013, detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Price Law, and Circular No. 233/2016/TT-BTC dated November 11, 2016, amending and supplementing certain articles of Circular No. 56/2014/TT-BTC. Additionally, they must notify West Coach Station to post the prices at ticket counters and sell tickets to passengers.
Passenger services during the National Day holiday will ensure security, environmental cleanliness, fire prevention, and traffic safety.
