Based on the holiday schedule for 2025 approved by the Government: For New Year’s Day 2025, public servants, officials, and workers will have one day off on Wednesday, January 1, 2025; For Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), there will be 5 consecutive days off from Monday, January 27, 2025, to Friday, January 31, 2025 (28th day of the 12th lunar month, Year of the Dragon, to the 3rd day of the 1st lunar month, Year of the Snake). Including the weekends before and after the official holiday, employees will have a total of 9 days off, from January 25, 2025, to February 2, 2025 (26th day of the 12th lunar month, Year of the Dragon, to the 5th day of the 1st lunar month, Year of the Snake).
To ensure smooth travel during New Year and Lunar New Year 2025, West Coach Station Joint Stock Company (West Coach Station) has prepared the following plan:
1.Passenger Volume Forecast:
1.1 New Year 2025
- Passenger and vehicle numbers are expected to increase by over 1% compared to New Year 2024.
1.2 Lunar New Year 2025
- The Lunar New Year service period will last for 20 days, including 10 days before and 10 days after the New Year, specifically from January 19, 2025, to February 7, 2025 (corresponding to the 20th day of the 12th lunar month, Year of the Dragon, to the 10th day of the 1st lunar month, Year of the Snake). At the West Coach Station, passenger traffic typically peaks during the year-end rush, particularly from January 25, 2025, to January 27, 2025 (corresponding to the 26th to the 28th day of the 12th lunar month).
2. Ticket Sales Plan:
- At the West Coach Station, passenger traffic typically concentrates during the year-end period, with peak days starting from the 26th day of the 12th lunar month. Therefore, during the peak period of the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), from January 25, 2025 (26th lunar day) to January 27, 2025 (28th lunar day), the West Coach Station will operate ticket sales from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily for outsourced ticket sales units and 24/7 for self-managed ticket sales units. 3. Ticket Prices for New Year and Lunar New Year 2025:
- Transport companies that declare fare increases (if any) must submit official documents to the relevant authorities as per regulations and notify the West Coach Station for fare posting at ticket counters and ticket sales to passengers.
- The West Coach Station encourages transport companies not to increase fares during the 2025 New Year's holiday and, based on annual statistics, to maintain fare levels as on regular days.
- For the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), fare adjustments and the timing of fare increases to cover empty return trips will be applied.
The passenger service operations for the 2025 New Year and Lunar New Year will ensure public security, environmental sanitation, fire prevention, and traffic safety.
