To widely disseminate the Law on National Identity (2023), the Law on Residence (2020), and Prime Minister’s Decision No. 06/QD-TTg dated January 6, 2022, approving the Project "Development of applications for population data, electronic identification, and authentication to serve national digital transformation for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" to all staff, employees, and workers at the Corporation and relevant units in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Corporation is implementing and publicizing Plan No. 3700/KH-UBND dated July 2, 2024, from the City People’s Committee regarding the organization of the online contest "Understanding the Law on National Identity - Electronic Identification and Online Public Services" to units throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
The contest also aims to widely disseminate legal regulations on electronic identification and online public services, thereby raising awareness and compliance with the law among civil servants, officials, the armed forces, workers, students, and the public. It seeks to promote consensus and active participation in the daily use of the VNeID application and online public services.
According to the plan, the contest will be conducted online. The contest content will cover the 2023 Law on National Identity, the 2020 Law on Residence, Prime Minister’s Decision No. 06/QD-TTg approving Project 06, Government Decree No. 59/2022/ND-CP on electronic identification and authentication and online public services, Government Decree No. 42/2022/ND-CP, and the online public services currently being implemented in Ho Chi Minh City.
The structure and value of the awards include 10 group prizes and 30 individual prizes. Specifically, the 30 individual prizes include: 1 first prize worth 9 million VND, 3 second prizes worth 4.5 million VND each, 10 third prizes worth 3 million VND each, and 16 consolation prizes worth 1.5 million VND each. The 10 group prizes include: 1 first prize worth 15 million VND, 3 second prizes worth 10.5 million VND each, and 6 third prizes worth 7.5 million VND each.
The contest is expected to begin on September 15, 2024. The contest summary and award ceremony are projected for November 2024, in response to Vietnam’s Law Day 2024 in the city.
