On what began as an ordinary working day at the bus station, we received a report concerning an Australian passenger, Ms. Lam Ellis Simone Janette, who had accidentally left behind a backpack while traveling from the Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City.
Inside the backpack were not only personal belongings but also many valuable items and important documents, including a laptop, a temporary residence card, jewelry, a wristwatch, and cash. For anyone, these would be extremely difficult to replace if lost.
Upon discovering the incident, our Security Department immediately coordinated efforts to inspect the area, review CCTV footage, and carry out the necessary search procedures. After completing the verification process, we successfully contacted Ms. Lam and promptly returned all of her belongings to her, intact and in their original condition.
The moment she received her backpack back, the relief in her eyes and her grateful smile reminded us that every effort we make is worthwhile.

Returning lost luggage to passengers What made the story even more memorable was that after returning home, Ms. Lam came back to the bus station with a small souvenir as a token of appreciation for our security team. Along with the gift was a simple yet heartfelt handwritten card in Vietnamese that read:
“Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều vì lòng tốt và giúp tôi lấy lại những vật dụng quý giá.”
We believe that our daily work is not always defined by extraordinary events. Rather, it is the small acts of responsibility, professionalism, and kindness—carried out at the right moment—that help preserve passengers' trust and reinforce the positive image of our bus station.
This may be a small story, but it serves as a great source of motivation for us to continue serving every passenger with dedication, integrity, and care, each and every day.
