ANNOUNCEMENT CEREMONY FOR THE DECISION TO TRANSFORM THE IT DEPARTMENT INTO THE TECHNOLOGY & QUALITY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONNEL

Nowadays, the management of product/service quality plays a crucial role in determining the sustainability and growth of businesses. High-quality products and services help companies attract customers, enhance competitive advantages, and build their reputation and credibility.

At West Coach Station, with the Quality Policy of 'Always maintain and enhance the trust of customers and partners,' with the slogan of building the station as 'SAFE – CIVILIZED – MODERN.' Therefore, in recent times, the West Coach Station has established an Information Technology Department to promote the application of information technology in its operations, followed by the establishment of a customer service unit to promptly provide passengers with essential information.

To further enhance service quality, the company’s Party Committee adopted a resolution in April 2024. Subsequently, in November 2024, the Board of Directors approved a resolution to transform the IT Department into the Technology & Quality Management Department. This specialized department, as part of the company’s organizational structure, has the following responsibilities: Advising on and implementing the management of the entire IT system; Developing, managing, and maintaining application software; Managing and ensuring IT infrastructure across the company’s operations; Overseeing and managing the company’s surveillance camera system; Managing and maintaining the company’s website, social media platforms, and hotline 19007373; Managing the customer care unit and producing content in both Vietnamese and English, including editing images for the company’s website; Managing and operating the company’s ISO Quality Management and KPI systems.

On December 30, 2024, at the Hall, the West Coach Station Joint Stock Company hosted a ceremony to announce the decision to transform the IT Department into the Technology & Quality Management Department. During this event, Mr. Huynh Hai Phuong was appointed as the department’s head, effective January 1, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the company’s leadership, General Director Dang Nguyen Nguyen Huan congratulated Mr. Huynh Hai Phuong. The General Director expressed confidence in Mr. Phuong’s integrity and professionalism and trusted that he would quickly adapt and excel in his new role. He also emphasized the critical role of information technology in the modern era.
